At the end of round 20, upgrade the Druid to 3-0-2. Upgrade the Druid to 2-0- 2 as soon as you can (should be possible around the start of round 14). When you can, place a Druid down opposite from Obyn.

To start, place down Obyn Greenfoot in the curve farther from the entrance that has LoS (Line of Sight) with the entrance.

By round 67 you should have enough money to purchase a second Crossbow Master (if you have the required Monkey Knowledge), and that will leave you with Hard mode completed on Monkey Meadow!.

At round 57 or 58, you should have enough money to purchase a Crossbow Master. Placing 1 or two more Banana Farms is recommended.

Around midgame (40-60) You can start saving up cash for stronger upgrades.

Soon after, upgrade the Wizard Monkey to 0-2-4 for even more popping power! A Wizard Monkey (0-2-2) should be placed before round 30 for additional popping power. A Banana Farm is recommended to have the money to purchase this. When you have the money, place a Spike Factory. You will leak some lives, but not enough to put you in immediate danger.

An early game (3-40) strategy for normal hard mode is to place a free Dart Monkey (if you have the Monkey Knowledge that gives you a free Dart Monkey) to begin, then place Gwendolyn as soon as you can.(Note that the Hard Mode strategy should work for all easier modes (excluding deflation). Or you can go for The Biggest One if you want. Aim it at the 1st loop and no Fortified Bloon shall pass (except D.D.T.s, Z.O.M.G.s and B.A.D.s). With all the loops on this map, Shattering Shells is extremely useful. Is Recursive Clusters enough to defend in the late game when backed up by Stronger Stimulants and Striker Jones? Of course not! Put a Monkey Intelligence Bureau in the middle and you've got yourself a D.D.T.-demolishing dream team. Just remember to put them on a straight line for maximum defense. And why shouldn't you buy Sharp Shooter and Crossbow Master? They're cheap (as far as tier 4 and 5 upgrades go, at least) and effective. Crossbow is a good, easy Bloon-popping tower. Class Bloons, while Super Ceramic Bloons at the second loop can be cleaned up with Rings of Fire, or, if you're very rich, an Inferno Ring. The Tack Zone can do tons of chip damage against M.O.A.B. However, there are some towers you can use to make your life easier: Monkey Meadow is one of the easiest maps in the game, along with Cubism, Frozen Over and Logs, so pretty much anything goes.
